It was a few days since the night he got beat up. The Batman was all over the news and it was the hot topic. Had he really returned? Hadn't he died? Those were the questions people were asking, but they obviously weren't going to get any answers. John arrived at her hotel just as he said he would. After parking in the underground parking lot, he took the elevator to the lobby and then another elevator to her floor. He was still pretty bruised up along with his cracked rib but his face was getting better.

When he got to her floor and walked down the hall, he knocked on her door.

She laughed at his expression and leaned over to kiss him.

He kissed her back.

It was a good kiss, so she deepened it, her hands tangling in his hair.

He opened his mouth to her immediately.

She kissed him until she was nearly breathless, then smiled. "Maybe we should skip the TV and take this to the bedroom?"

He laughed. "Sure. You gotta be gentle though."

"Whatever you want," she murmured, tugging him up with her. "Even if all we do is lie on the bed and kiss."

John grabbed the remote and turned off the tv before following her to the bedroom.

"You'll have to let me know, what you want," she murmured, closing the bedroom door behind them.

[gcpd]

"What do you want?" He asked her.

[chesstotem]

"You, naked," she said immediately.

[gcpd]

He grinned and took off his tshirt.

[chesstotem]

"Your turn," she said. "What do you want?"

[gcpd]

"I want you."

[chesstotem]

"That's easy." She ran her hands lightly down his back, to his ass. "Anything else?"

"I don't know." He wrapped his arms around her.

"How long had it been, for you?" she asked curiously. "Before me, I mean."

[gcpd]

He laughed a little, ducking his head. "You really wanna know?"

[chesstotem]

"Yeah," she said honestly. "I like knowing things. I like knowing things about you. C'mon, I know it can't be tough for you to find willing partners."

[gcpd]

"It's not that I can't find willing partners, it's just that I've been busy," he replied, ignoring her question.

[chesstotem]

She nodded. "I guess when Gotham was under occupation by terrorists, that wasn't a good time for sexing around. But before that?"

[gcpd]

He sighed. "Maybe, I mean, it's not an exact number but...close to a year."

[chesstotem]

She smiled, and leaned back to take her shirt off for him. "That's about how long it was for me, too," she admitted.

[gcpd]

"Oh." Slowly he smiled.

[chesstotem]

"Work," she said with a shrug. "I got caught up in it. Didn't even miss it, really. Until I met you."
