John drove down to the cave and got suited up. The new one Fox had created for him was perfect. It was a snug fit but he was still able to move around.

The reason why John was suiting up tonight was because he'd heard a rumor about something going down in the city, so he thought he'd check it out. It could be nothing, but he wanted to be on the safe side. It was something about dreamshare. John couldn't find much other than it was a military training program but got shut down after losing its funding.

"Yeah." John sat up.

"Okay," she said. "In here or in the living room."

"Here." He reached over to grab the remote and then handed it to her.

She took the remote and went through the menu to the on demand movies before picking the right one. She then settled back against the pillows.

John settled back on the pillows, his shoulder touching hers.

She snuggled into his side a bit as the movie started.

About half way through, John fell asleep, his head resting against hers.

She could tell he was asleep by the way he was breathing, so she paused the movie and turned off the tv, but didn't move, just enjoying being close to him.

When the sound turned off, John woke up with a start. "I'm awake, I'm awake."

She huffed out a laugh.

"It's okay," she said, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "You need sleep more than you need the Avengers right now."

He almost wanted to laugh because he really did kind of need the Avengers right now. "Alright," he said with a yawn.

"Want a massage?" she offered.

[gcpd]

"Yes please," he replied, perking up just a tad.

She smiled.

"Roll over on your stomach," she said as she pulled the blankets off.

John does so, his arms at his sides.

She crawls over him and stradles his lower back before starts kneading at his shoulders.

John let out a low groan that was muffled by the pillow.

She worked down his back, leaning forward to press a kiss to his lower back.

[gcpd]

John let out a sigh. "I think this is doing the opposite of what you wanted."

"Youre not feeling relaxed?" she asked.

[gcpd]

He laughed breathlessly. "I'm kinda turned on."

[inyourdreams]

She grinned and kissed his back again.

"Who says I don't want that to happen?" she asked before pinching his butt.

[gcpd]

"I thought I needed to get some sleep?"

[inyourdreams]

"You do," she said. "But it's been a little while..."

Especially considering that prior they were still in the doing it like rabbits phase of the relationship.

"If you're too tired though, it's okay. There's always the morning."

[gcpd]

"No," he said as he sat up on his elbows and turned to look at her. "I want to."
